• A little bit of History

  For me photography is a passion I didn't know I had until a few years back. I've always loved Photoshop ever since I first started using it back when I got my first copy of Photoshop CS2, but I always considered it more of a hobby than anything else. That is until the first time I picked up a secondhand Nikon DSLR .
• It dawned on me that the combination of photography and my Photoshop skills gave me an advantage over most photographers, who mostly use Photoshop on a basic level. I also realised that the opposite was true, namely that being able to incorporate my own photography with my own graphic design experience also gave me a huge advantage over my competition.

  and then it dawned

• So I left what I was doing and opened this business, and I can honestly say that I have never worked so hard, with so little time off, in my entire life! But I don't regrett it for a second. Thanks to the understanding and help of my wife I have not only managed to survive those critical first years, but my business is growing and as I gain more experience I am able to offer my clients better products, more variety and most importantly a unique approach which results in products that are different from anything else out there..

Newly Commisioned

• Media Studio was recently commisioned by three of the top wedding venues on the East Rand to build them entirely new websites(yes, we also make websites), and after seeing the results, which obviously included a lot of my own wedding and venue photographs, that they are all now promoting Media Studio as their prefered wedding photography service provider. Considering that we came from obscurity only a couple of years ago, this means we must be doing something right!.
